Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear wheel steering device which can properly steer rear wheels by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A rear wheel steering device 10 comprises: a rear axle housing 20 for supporting rear wheels 5 of a vehicle 1; a lower radius rod 50 which is arranged along a fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle 1, and connected to one end side of the rear axle housing 20 in an axial direction; a lower radius rod 55 which is arranged along the fore-and-aft direction, and connected to the other end side of the rear axle housing 20 in the axial direction; an actuator 60 for moving the lower radius rod 50 to the fore-and-aft direction; and a connecting member 72 which is connected to the lower radius rod 50 and the lower radius rod 55, and can turn with a pivot part 73 located at a center side in a vehicle width direction as a center. The connecting member 72 moves the lower radius rod 55 to a direction reverse to a moving direction of the lower radius rod 50 in the fore-and-aft direction by turning with the pivot part 73 as a center in conjunction with the movement of the lower radius rod 50 by the actuator 60, and turns the rear axle housing 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
