To provide an on-vehicle receptacle which is provided with a reliable mechanism for detecting blades of a plug, and is miniaturized.
A pair of blade-inserting openings 5 into which the pair of blades 100, 101 of the plug are inserted are adapted to open on the front side of a cuboidal fixture 1 which is formed by connecting a synthetic resin-molded body 2 and a cover 3. The body 2 encases two blade-receiving members 10 which, respectively, elastically contact with the blades 100, 101 inserted through the blade-inserting openings 5; two operating pieces 12 which turn in one direction by the inserting force when the blades 100, 101 inserted through the blade-inserting openings 5, respectively, contact with the operating pieces 12; two return springs 13 which urge spring-force to turn the operating pieces 12 in the other direction; and a printed board block 14 which comprises a circuit board 14a on which two microswitches 14b are mounted, wherein the operating pieces 12 are disposed substantially at the center of the body 2 where the blade-receiving parts are facing each other.
