PURPOSE: To control the inside temperature of a refrigerator even when the cooling speed of the inside temperature and the freezing speed of cold heat accumulating material are quick and a power supply for a condensing unit is cut off by a method wherein a temperature, whereat a fan motor is put ON/OFF, is set so as to be higher than the ON/OFF temperature of a compressor.
CONSTITUTION: The detecting temperature of a temperature sensor 8 for the inside of a refrigerator, whereat a compressor is put ON/OFF, is set so as to be lower than the detecting temperature of another temperature sensor 7 for an evaporator putting an inside fan motor 5 ON/OFF. When the inside temperature as arrived at an objective temperature, the temperature sensor 8 for the inside of a refrigerator, whose set temperature is high, detects the temperature and stops the inside fan motor 5. At this time, the cold heat accumulating material 4 is not frozen sufficiently and, therefore, the driving of the compressor of a condensing unit 6 is continued. Then, the temperature sensor 7 for an evaporator detects the temperature when the temperature of the cold heat accumulating material 4 has become a set temperature and a power supply for the condensing unit 6 is put OFF. Next, when the current of the condensing unit 6 is cut OFF, the frozen cold heat accumulating material 4 can keep a cold heat keeping temperature for a given period of time.
