Abstract:
To provide a resonator mounting structure for a vehicle, which facilitates mounting work of a resonator, and with which oscillation of the resonator hardly propagates into the cabin.SOLUTION: In a resonator mounting structure for a vehicle, a resonator 10 is attached to a fixing member 30 that is a member disposed inside an engine room, and is a vehicle body constituent member or a member to be fixed to a vehicle body constituent member. The fixing member 30 includes a planar attachment surface part disposed in the engine room. The resonator 10 includes: a resonator body 11 comprising a silencing space 11c inside; and three or more protrusions 15, 16 and 17 protruding in parallel to each other from three or more parts located on approximately the same plane on an outer surface of the resonator body 11. The resonator 10 is attached to the attachment surface part via grommets 40 that are fitted to the three or more protrusions 15, 16 and 17 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
