A pair of rails 4 are provided on both sides of the vehicle under test 1 on a floor 3 of a chassis dynamometer in the anteroposterior direction. Each rail 4 has an arm 7 which protrudes inwardly at right angles movably in the anteroposterior direction. The arm 7 includes a lateral direction moving part 9 movably in the lateral direction. An erected part 11 is erected on the lateral direction moving part 9. The erected part 11 includes a vertical direction moving part 12 movably in the vertical direction. A rotation part 14 is supported by the vertical direction moving part 12 rotatably. The rotation part 14 includes a moving shaft 15 movably in the horizontal direction. The moving shaft 15 has a pad 20 through an air cushion 18. During a test, the pad 20 is brought into contact with a bumper 1b of the vehicle under test 1.
