To provide a vehicle seat capable of adjusting side parts provided on both sides of the backrest of the vehicle seat so as to easily cope with various physiques of the crew.
The vehicle seat 11 with back surface side parts 15a and 15b provided on both sides of the backrest 13 comprises: support members 18a and 18b provided inside the back surface side parts 15a and 15b; turning devices 30a and 30b connected to the support members 18a and 18b, for turning the back surface side parts 15a and 15b in the horizontal width direction of the backrest 13; drive units 27a and 27b connected to the turning devices 30a and 30b, for performing turning by pressurization; pressure sensors 32a and 32b for measuring pressurizing force generated between the drive units 27a and 27b and the turning devices 30a and 30b; and a controller 31 for controlling the pressurization to the turning devices 30a and 30b by the drive units 27a and 27b to adjust it to prescribed pressurizing force on the basis of the measured pressurizing force.
