Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which is provided with a seat apparatus usable as a wheelchair outside a vehicle compartment and usable as a crew seat inside the vehicle compartment and a seat shifting apparatus for shifting the seat apparatus between the inside and outside of the vehicle compartment, wherein the positioning of the seat apparatus with respect to a seat connecting base is easily and surely performed when the seat apparatus is connected to the seat connecting base.
SOLUTION: While a pair of left and right connecting members 210 and 211 are provided on the front part and rear part of the seat holder 20 of the seat apparatus, the seat connecting base 151 is provided with connection engaging members 156. When the seat connecting base 151 is advanced to the lower surface side of the seat apparatus and elevated, the connection engaging members 156 are fitted inside the engaging grooves 210a and 211a of the connecting members 210 and 211 respectively and the seat apparatus is positioned with respect to the seat connecting base 151 in front and back directions.
