Abstract:
A seat for a vehicle which inhibits the forward movement amount of a seat body to the utmost extent during vehicle collision is provided. The seat for the vehicle comprises a clamped part (72) (striking plate (72)), the striking plate (72) being arranged on a sliding table (20); a clamping part (75) (hook (75)), the clamping part (75) being arranged a seat body (60), the clamping part (75) being clamped with the clamped part (72) of the sliding table (20) in the moving direction of the seat body (60) when the seat body (60) faces the seating position in the front part of the vehicle; a clamping relieving mechanism (80) which relieves clamping between the clamping part (75) and the clamped part (72) and making the clamping part (75) move to the clamping relieving position by moving the sliding table (20) to an assigned position.
