Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat that, in the event that a driver falls in an unsafe driving state, is capable of shortening the time required to start an operation for avoiding this unsafe state.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 1 comprises: a seat cushion 10; a seat back 20 fitted to the seat cushion 10; a drive device that moves the seat cushion 10 and/or at least part 30 of the seat back 20; and a control device that moves the drive device. The movement of the seat cushion 10 and/or the at least part 30 of the seat back 20 is a preliminary movement for an operation of a brake pedal 5 by a driver M and/or an operation of a steering 4 by the driver M. When determining on the basis of various signals from outside, that the operation of the brake pedal 5 by the driver M and/or an operation of the steering 4 by the driver is required, the control device operates the drive device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
