To provide a vehicle common-use system for normally operating this system by performing proper charging processing.
The control part of a shared vehicle 2 reads a member ID registered in a smart card 5, and makes an inquiry to a control room 1. In response to the inquiry of the member ID from the shared vehicle 2, a control part 11 of the control room 1 collates the member ID with the previous getting-off memory for the shared vehicle 2. Within a predetermined time since the user has gotten off the shared vehicle 2, it is judged that the user has gotten on the shared vehicle again in order to pick up his or her belongings left behind, and the user is permitted to get on the shared vehicle again without performing the charging processing. On the other hand, when it is judged that the user is permitted to get on the shared vehicle again without performing the charging processing, and that the user wants to have the electrical equipment system of the vehicle supplied with power, the control part of the shared vehicle 2 controls, for example, the solenoid of a pop-up key, and limits the rotation of a control knob to the position of rotation corresponding to a contact where power supply to the electrical equipment system is possible in order to inhibit the traveling of the vehicle while permitting the power supply to the electrical equipment system.
