Abstract:
To provide a shock absorbing structure of a vehicle capable of surely preventing breaking of a crash box even when a collision load is input in a vehicle body from an oblique direction.SOLUTION: A shock absorbing structure of a vehicle includes: a bumper beam 2 which extends along a vehicle width direction; a pair of side members 3 which extend along a vehicle longitudinal direction on both sides in a vehicle width direction; a crash box 1 which is formed into a cylindrical shape and is disposed between the bumper beam 2 and ends on the bumper beam 2 side of the side members 3. The bumper beam 2 has a bumper beam inclined section 2a which is inclined toward the side members 3 as the bumper beam goes to the vehicle width direction outside on both the sides in the vehicle width direction. The crash box 1 is provided in the bumper beam inclined section 2a and has a front side bead 11 on a peripheral surface on the bumper beam 2 side. The front side bead 11 is formed in parallel to the bumper beam inclined section 2a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
