Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side part structure capable of suppressing or preventing peeling at a connection part between members at the time of side collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a pillar outer reinforcement 38, a reinforcement upper 44 and a reinforcement lower 46 are connected at a connection part 56 by spot welding or the like. In a state of striding over the connection part 56, a hinge reinforcement 40 is connected to the reinforcement upper 44 and the reinforcement lower 46. Thus, when a tensile force acts on the pillar outer reinforcement 38, a reactive force obtained by the hinge reinforcement 40 reduces shearing force acting on the connection part 56. Thus, at the time of side collision of a vehicle, peeling at the connection part 56 is suppressed or prevented.
