Abstract:
To provide a vehicle speed control device which controls a vehicle so that a predetermined command speed that changes with time and a traveling speed coincide with each other and which can avoid an increase in a difference between the traveling speed and the command speed even when it is necessary to execute brake acceleration that is an operation to increase the traveling speed by a brake operation so as to match the traveling speed with the command speed.SOLUTION: An accelerator operation amount and a brake operation amount are acquired as the sum of the value determined by a feedforward process and the value determined by a feedback process. When execution of brake acceleration is necessary, the brake operation amount set by the feedforward process is set to a positive value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
