Abstract:
To remarkably improve lateral support rigidity of a steering column while reducing manufacturing cost.
A tilt bracket 3 is provided to surround a steering column 1 from above, and a distance bracket 5 is provided in sliding contact with the inside of the tilt bracket 3 so as to support the steering column 1 from below or above. Closing walls 10a, 10b are provided in front and in the rear of a vehicle of the distance bracket 5.
