Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of steering vibration even when an abnormality occurs on a main-side electric motor in a vehicle on which two pieces of electric power steering are mounted.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering control device controls: a main-side electric power steering to which a handle is connected; and a sub-side electric power steering connected to the handle through a relay rod and a center arm. The vehicle steering control device comprises: a motor state detection device 43 for detecting a state of the electric motor; and a main-side assist amount calculation part 60 and a sub-side assist amount calculation part 70 for respectively calculating an assist amount of the main-side electric power steering and an assist amount of the sub-side electric power steering. The sub-side assist amount calculation part 70 is configured to limit the assist amount of the sub-side electric power steering based on the assist amount of the main-side power steering when an abnormality of the electric motor of the main-side electric power steering is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
