Abstract:
A vehicular steering apparatus (10; 10A; 10B; 10C; 10D; 10E; 10F) includes: a road-wheel turning mechanism (30) mechanically separated from, but electrically connected to a steering wheel (21); a first rotation shaft (41) connected to the steering wheel; a second rotation shaft (42) connected to the road-wheel turning mechanism; and a connection mechanism (43; 43A; 43B; 43C; 43D; 43E; 43F) for interconnecting the first and second rotation shafts (41, 42) in such a manner that the first and second rotation shafts can rotate idle relative to each other within a range of a predetermined relative rotational angle.
