Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a suspension arm for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A suspension arm comprises an arm body 20 that opens upwards and accommodates one end of a suspension ring to support, and a reinforcement member 30 that reinforces the arm body 20 by being joined to an upper end of the arm body 20. Notches 50a and 50b are formed on both ends of the reinforcement member 30 in a longitudinal direction. At least one of these notches 50a and 50b, in a view from an upper side, has a shape composed of: (a) a pair of straight parts 60a and 60b that extends straight from one end toward the other end in a longitudinal direction; (b) a connection part 62 that connects each edge on the other end side of these pair of the straight parts 60a and 60b. Edges of two joining parts 40a and 40b that are joined to the reinforcement member 30 and the arm body 20 are positioned in the middle of the pair of straight parts 60a and 60b in a longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
