Title:
ON-VEHICLE COOLING/HEATING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007127316
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve a problem in cooling or refrigeration of a vehicle wherein presently, a system of directly carrying out rotary driving of a semi-hermetic compressor by using one part of output from an output shaft of an engine or the like, or a system of turning the compressor by using electric power of a generator or a power supply line and driving an electric motor are the mainstream, but energy necessary for operating an air conditioner or a freezer increases fuel consumption or the like in a power unit such as the engine, and it is necessary to increase capacity of the power unit accordingly to the output increase, which leads to product cost increase.

The system aims to realize heating and cooling or refrigeration just by normal exhaust heat of the engine or the like, without needing output increase of the engine or the like. A technique is provided for specifically commercializing a system driving a gas expander by exhaust heat of the engine, a vehicular electric motor, or the like to drive a compressor of a refrigerating cycle. The technique will be established as a technique applicable in every vehicle of every power system that will be developed in the future.
