Title:
VEHICLE TORQUE CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010281267
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To perform torque control so that the torque generated by an engine does not become discontinuous upon torque request for ensuring continuity of the torque from systems other than an engine system.

Upon the torque request for ensuring continuity of the torque from systems (e.g., an automatic transmission system and a VSC system), other than the engine system, without performing the torque control (fuel injection cut) causing discontinuity of the torque generated by the engine, the requested torque is realized using torque controls (e.g., intake air volume adjustment and ignition timing adjustment) other than the foregoing torque control. By performing the torque control such as this, discontinuity of torque at the torque decrease can be prevented. Accordingly, for example, when reduction in the torque during performing power-on upshift is to be carried out, continuity of the torque generated by the engine can be ensured, thereby permitting shock to be suppressed.
