PURPOSE: To reduce running resistance, by a method wherein a squirrel conductor is composed on a laminated magnetic plate arranged on floating rails to consist floating promotion rails and floating magnets and the primary of a linear motor are arranged facing to the rails.
CONSTITUTION: A beam 10A connecting the right and left rails is provided and fixed with guide rails 6A(not shown in a drawing), 6B at the right and left end sections of the beam 10A and a floating promotion rail 15 at the lower part of the beam 10A. The rail 15 is composed of a laminated magnetic plate 15A, good conductors 16A, 16B arranged at the right and left sides of the plate 15A and a good conductor 17 penetrated through the plate 15A by crossing the plate 15 with the conductor 17 at right angles to connect the good conductor 17 to the right and left good conductors 16A, 16B. A track base beam 2A is provided with floating magnets 14AW14D and the primary 18A, 18B of a linear motor which face to the rail 15 and guide magnets 4AAW4BB facing to rails 6A, 6B.
