Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle transmission capable of speeding up shift control responsiveness at a time of changing to a predetermined running mode as compared with conventional techniques and improving drivability.SOLUTION: Under predetermined conditions in a torque split running mode of using both a belt continuously variable transmission mechanism 4 and a gear transmission mechanism 5, a control is executed to make belt holding pressure F of the belt continuously variable transmission mechanism 4 higher than belt holding pressure at normal time and to increase belt winding diameter of a primary pulley 40a of the belt continuously variable transmission mechanism 4 in a case of changing a transmission gear ratio γof the belt continuously variable transmission 4 from a low ratio to a high ratio so as to increase a total transmission gear ratio of the belt continuously variable transmission and the gear transmission mechanism 5 as a step transmission mechanism having a fixed transmission gear ratio.
