To provide a vehicle transport system that allows a towing tractor to transport a plurality of vehicles, to be environment responsive and can reduce CO₂ evolution considered to be a principal cause of gloval environment warming.

The vehicle transport system comprises a towing tractor 10 running on an expressway and a plurality of towed trucks 11 that are connected to the towing tractor 10 and transport a plurality of vehicles. The towed trucks 11 comprise vehicle loading means for loading the vehicles on the towed trucks, vehicle fixing means for fixing the vehicles to the towed trucks and vehicle unloading means for unloading the vehicles from the towed trucks. The vehicle transport system is according to a highway mobile train 20 that the towing tractor tows a plurality of towed trucks loading a plurality of vehicles thereon on the expressway.
