To provide a vehicle for transportation capable of transporting even an object stretching longer and of smoothly running even in change of direction.
The vehicle is equipped with a driving truck 10 having a driving wheel device 12 capable of being maneuvered remotely and a follower truck 40 having an idling wheel device 42 capable of changing the direction through remote maneuvering. Supporting tables 26 and 57 rotatable round the longitudinal axes 25a and 56a are installed in the upper parts of the both trucks 10 and 40. The driving truck can be driven into running and put in a cornering run appropriately by maneuvering remotely the driving truck made by the operator from outside the vehicle in the condition that the object is placed between the supporting tables, and at that time, a running force can be given to the follower truck through the object transported to allow it to run in a single piece with the driving truck. The follower truck can make a cornering run appropriately by maneuvering remotely the idling wheel device made by the operator from outside the vehicle. Between the supporting tables and the object, no unreasonable slide contact (friction) is generated owing to rotations of the tables individually round the longitudinal axes at the time of cornering run, which can therefore be performed smoothly at all times. Running in transporting the object stretching longer can be conducted smoothly at all times, including the cornering run.
