Abstract:
To secure effective traveling performance at a road having a low friction coefficient μ on its surface.
A vehicle is provided with an accelerator position detecting means 11, a vehicle speed detecting means, and speed change controlling means 8 and 13 controlling speed change of an automatic transmission 5 based on positions of an accelerator and speed of a vehicle. The vehicle comprises a slip rate sensing means 8 sensing a slip rate of a drive wheel 6, and a speed change point changing means 8 changing speed change points of the automatic transmission 5 by means of the speed change controlling means 8 when the slip rate of the drive wheel 6 exceeds a primary preset value.
