Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control system that can improve straight traveling and operability of the vehicle by applying an appropriate turning yaw moment to the vehicle if an automobile turns during running when the automobile receives disturbances such as crosswind or a road surface shape.SOLUTION: The present invention includes right and left grill shutters 22R, 22L provided at a front part of a vehicle, open/close drive mechanisms 24R, 24L configured to drive open/close of the right and left grill shutters, and an opening adjustment control device 26 configured to adjust the opening of the right and left grill shutters. The opening adjustment control device is configured to control the opening and closing of each of the right and left grill shutters on the basis of a target yaw rate from the current vehicle speed and steering wheel angle of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
