To provide a vehicle travel distance storage apparatus capable of preventing an increase of a capacity of a nonvolatile memory, and storing a traveled distance by easy processing without having to frequently rewrite the nonvolatile memory.
In the vehicle travel distance storage apparatus, the nonvolatile memory 14 is provided with a plurality of data sections. First distance information or second distance information is previously written as distance information in the plurality of data sections. An address pointer storage means 13 stores an address pointer indicating an address allotted to a data section to be rewritten among the plurality of data sections. When it is detected that a vehicle has traveled by a unit distance with the first distance information written in the data section of the address indicated by the address pointer, the second distance information is written in the data section. When the second distance information has been written, the first distance information is written in the data section. The address pointer is circularly and sequentially advanced.
