Abstract:
To decrease a possibility that both vehicles collide with each other by controlling the operation of an unmanned traveling vehicle in an environment in which a manned traveling vehicle and the unmanned traveling vehicle coexist and travel.SOLUTION: The manned traveling vehicle estimates information on an own present position and an advancing direction from map information, a cumulative movement amount including a moving distance from an initial position and an angular change amount calculated by using a measured rotation speed of wheels and a measured steering turn angle, distance measurement information to an obstacle, and information on a position of the obstacle. The unmanned vehicle estimates information on an own present position and an advancing direction from map information, a cumulative movement amount including a movement distance from an initial position and an angular change amount calculated by using a measured rotation speed of wheels.
