Abstract:
To provide a vehicle lower part structure for an electric vehicle, the vehicle lower part structure being able to improve a traveling performance by setting the vehicle body height from the ground high and able to make a structure simpler and lighter in weight.SOLUTION: A vehicle lower part structure for an electric vehicle comprises: rear axles 12a, 12b; rear-wheel driving motors 22a, 22b; and an axle housing 14 for accommodating the rear axles 12a, 12b and the rear-wheel driving motors 12a, 12b. The rear-wheel axles 12a, 12b are arranged in a rear housing side part 13B and the rear-wheel driving motors 22a, 22b are arranged in a rear housing central part 14A. A steering mechanism for steering the rear wheels 12a, 12b has rack pinion gear boxes 24a, 24b accommodated in the rear housing central part 14A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
