A cast preform 30 integrally comprises a disk part 31 and an original rim part 32. Next, the original rim part 32 of the preform 30 is housed over the outer circumference of a mandrel 40, the disk part 31 is held by an end face of the mandrel 40 and a clamp member 50, and the original rim part 32 is subjected to the spinning in this state to obtain a vehicle wheel having a rim part 39. After the spinning, the clamp member 50 is separated from the mandrel 40, a center portion of the disk part 31 is pressed against the mandrel 40 by a detaching mechanism 70 provided on a center part of the clamp member 50, and the vehicle wheel is detached from the clamp member 50 thereby.
