Abstract:
To provide a vehicle wheel having a helmholtz resonator (a sub air chamber member) which can secure a larger capacity of a sub air chamber compared to a conventional helmholtz resonator.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a vehicle wheel 1 in which a sub air chamber member 10 serving as a helmholtz resonator is attached to an outer peripheral surface 11d of a well part 11c. The sub air chamber member 10 includes: a body part 13 forming a sub air chamber SC by a space enclosed by an upper plate 25a, a bottom plate 25b, and a pair of side plates 25c erected from both ends of the bottom plate 25b as seen in a wheel width direction Y to the outer side as seen in a wheel radial direction Z; and a pair of edge parts 14 which are erected from both ends of the bottom plate 25c as seen in the wheel width direction Y so as to be arranged side by side with the side plate 25c and extend to the outer side as seen in the wheel radial direction Z and are engaged with the well part 11c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
