PURPOSE: To facilitate handling by providing a sufficiently long rotary type gangboard, so that it is not left as vertically placed in an end part of a pallet but the gangboard can be stored as necessary under a pallet floor when stored (at running time).

CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a drive shaft 3 provided in almost parallel to an end face of a pallet, rotary drive means 6 with a point end part 4-2 and root part 4-1 double foldable in the longitudinal direction with a connecting shaft serving as the center mounting a base side part of the root part in the drive shaft and capable of 180° or more rotating a gangboard 4 and the drive shaft and a gangboard extending means 12 for unfolding the point end part and a bending part of the root part when the gangboard is rotated from a perpendicular direction to outside the pallet. Further, the device has a gangboard storage part 1-2 formed in the pallet, so that the gangboard can be stored so as to prevent its upper surface from protruding from an upper surface of the pallet, in a condition that the gangboard is rotated inside the pallet and double folded.
