The vehicle is provided with independently steered left and right steering wheels WHfl, WHfr; and independently driven left and right driving wheels WHrl, WHrr. The left and right driving wheels WHrl, WHrr are connected to a vehicle body BD by a link mechanism and are switched to the long extended state between the left and right steering wheels WHfl, WHfr and left and right driving wheels WHrl, WHrr and the short contracted state between the left and right steering wheels WHfl, WHfr and left and right driving wheels WHrl, WHrr. In the extended state, an inclination angle of the vehicle body BD relative to a road surface becomes small and driving is controlled by operation of longitudinal and left and right direction of a joy stick 13 as a usual vehicle. In the contracted state, the inclination angle of the vehicle body BD relative to the road surface becomes large and small turn low speed driving is controlled by the operation of longitudinal and left and right direction of the joy stick 13.
