To provide a vehicle which uses an elastic force saved in an elastic body as a driving force, secures a capability for smoothly changing a proceeding direction with a few components, and can save energy with a small size and light weight.
The vehicle body 20 is equipped with a pair of main driving wheels 53A, 53B that are independently driven. The vehicle body 20 can be steered by the difference in rotation speeds between the pair of main driving wheels 53A, 53B. The vehicle includes: an energy saving mechanism 60 including the elastic body capable of outputting the saved elastic force as the power while changing the input power into the elastic force to save; and an auxiliary driving wheel 61 driven by the power of the energy saving mechanism 60. A rotating shaft line of the auxiliary driving wheel 61 exists on a vertical surface on which the pair of main driving wheels 53A, 53B rise from each ground contact point.
