A vehicle performs a wheel raising operation of raising one wheel so that it will climb a protrusion by performing an operation in which, when at least one of four wheels 21 to 24 approaches a protrusion 50 on a road surface, one of supports 40 and 42 supporting the one wheel performs a first rotation operation so that the one wheel moves in an upper direction, and a second rotation operation so that the one wheel moves in a front direction. The other of the two supports performs the second rotation operation as a preparation operation of the wheel raising operation to change positions of the wheels supported with the other supports on the road surface so as to increase stability of the vehicle in the case where it is supported with three wheels other than the raised wheel.
