Abstract:
To make it possible for a vehicle provided with an auxiliary battery system to run after being left for a long time, without the manufacturing cost of the auxiliary battery being increased.SOLUTION: A battery ECU of a vehicle acquires the voltage of each lithium ion battery included in an auxiliary battery (S1 to S4), and sets a minimum value Vmin using the acquired voltage (S5). When the minimum value Vmin is equal to or smaller than a first threshold value VLth and larger than a second threshold value Vdth (B at S6), the battery ECU determines whether an IGCT signal is input (S9). When the IGCT signal is input (YES at S9), the battery ECU permits the charging of the auxiliary battery and sets a latch relay RY in a closed state (S10). Then, the battery ECU sets a traveling prohibition flag of the vehicle (S11).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
