Abstract:
To provide a vehicle of which a back door can be opened irrespective of a distance between an obstacle such as a wall positioned behind the vehicle and a rear part of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle (1) comprises: a back door (31) which is provided on a rear part of the vehicle, and is opened toward the rear of the vehicle; a drive unit (3) which moves the vehicle forward and backward; a release request detection part (23, 63) which detects a back door release request; a rear distance measurement part (61) which measures a distance between the vehicle and an obstacle (65) positioned behind the vehicle; and a control part (71) which drives the drive unit, thereby moving the vehicle forward. When it is detected by the release request detection part that the back door release request is made and the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle, which is measured by the rear distance measurement part (S10), is smaller than a prescribed distance (S30), the control part drives the drive unit, thereby moving the vehicle forward by the prescribed distance or more (S50).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
