Abstract:
To provide a vehicle having a motor, which can perform a shift-down process appropriately.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises a motor, a speed changer, wheels, a friction brake and a control device. A shift-down process has: a first process for reducing regenerative braking force; a second process for making the speed changer shift-down; and a third process for increasing the regenerative braking force. The control device, when a target execution time for the shift-down process is longer than a reference value, increases the friction braking force by a first increment during the shift-down process. The control device, when the target execution time for the shift-down process is shorter than the reference value, does not increase the friction braking force during the shift-down process, or increases the friction braking force by a second increment smaller than the first increment during the shift-down process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
