Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably perform failure diagnosis of a charge system while suppressing worsening of electricity cost and durability degradation of the charge system, in a vehicle in which an electric storage device can be charged with an external power supply.SOLUTION: A voltage sensor 220 detects voltage VCHG of an electric path between the charge device 200 and a charge relay CHR, and outputs the detected value to HV-ECU300, when an open state of the charge relay CHR is continued for predetermined time or more, performs failure diagnosis of the voltage sensor 220 before the start of charging of the electricity storage device 11 by the charge device 200, and when the open state of the charge relay CHR has not continued for the predetermined time, does not perform failure diagnosis, and starts charging of the electricity storage device 111 by the charge device 200.
