Abstract:
To improve fuel consumption performance in actual use of a power unit including an engine body which burns an air-fuel mixture.SOLUTION: A motor vehicle 1 includes: a capsule device 30 which is disposed in a manner that at least an exhaust pipe 18 is located outside the capsule device 30 and at least an engine body 11 is enclosed thereby in the motor vehicle 1 having a power unit which is provided at a front chamber 3 of the motor vehicle 1, causes an air-fuel mixture to be burned in the engine body 11, and exhausts through the exhaust pipe 18; a communication port 41 which is formed on a side surface of the front chamber 3 of the motor vehicle 1 and allows the front chamber 3 and an interior of a wheel house 23 to communicate with each other; a communication port opening/closing member 42 which is movably provided so as to close the communication port 41; and a control part 44 which controls opening/closing of the communication port 41 by the communication port opening/closing member 42. The communication port 41 opens at the rear side of a front surface of the capsule device 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
