Title:
VEHICULAR AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009078811
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To avoid insufficient mixing of cold air and hot air by a blow-off mode and to prevent relatively excessive rise in the temperature of conditioned air blown out from a foot port without increasing the cost, in a vehicular air conditioner where the temperature of conditioned air blown out from the foot port is set higher than the temperature of conditioned air blown out from a vent port or a defroster port.

A first passage 31 connected to the defroster port 12 and the vent port 13 and a second passage 32 connected to the foot port 14 are communicated with an air mix space 29. A rotary door 35 for switching between the first and second passages 31, 32 is disposed. When the rotary door 35 is on the way of switching between the first and second passages 31, 32, a clearance 52 is generated between a closed wall portion 36 and a casing-side sealing portion 50. Conditioned air flowing in from the air mix space 29 to the second passage 32 is made to flow to the first passage 31 side of the air mix space 29 via the clearance 52.
