Abstract:
To provide a vehicular air conditioner which can achieve improvement in air-conditioning comfort in a vehicle compartment while suppressing battery deterioration.SOLUTION: An vehicular air conditioner comprises a heat pump system, and an air conditioner ECU which controls the heat pump system. The heat pump system includes an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, a compressor, an intermediate heat exchanger, and a heat exchanger for battery. When a battery cooling required level is "1" in the case that the heat pump system is not operated and cooling in the vehicle compartment is performed by the heat pump system, the air conditioner ECU permits cooling of the battery by the heat pump system, and when the battery cooling required level is "3" in the case that heating in the vehicle compartment is performed by the heat pump system, the air conditioner permits cooling of the battery by the heat pump system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
