Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular alarm device capable of enhancing an alarm effect by continuing output of an alarm as long as possible.SOLUTION: An alarm controller performs: processing to output a notification sound from a notifying speaker when a speed of a vehicle is within a given speed; processing to output an alarm sound from an alarming horn and outputting a notification sound from the notifying speaker when the vehicle is stolen; and performing processing, in a case where a notification sound output detection signal is not input from an output sensor for a speaker despite performing the control for outputting the notification sound and where an alarm sound output detection signal is not input from an output sensor for a horn despite performing the control for outputting an alarm sound, to output a drive-limiting control signal to a drive-limiting controller, limiting starting of an ignition switch and causing a brake device to operate.
