When an engine is started, a CPU 62 calculates the vertical displacement of a wheel from the reference state on the basis of output signals of inclination sensors 67p, 67r and a stroke sensor 19L, and controls respective hydraulic cylinders through a servo valve 29L on the basis of the calculated result so that a body may be in the reference state. Pressure equivalent to load of respective wheels is detected by a pressure sensor 42L in a state where the attitude of the body is controlled to the reference state, the pressure is mode-converted, and respective pressures of the heave mode, the pitch mode, the roll mode and the warp mode are calculated. The CPU 62 sets the target value of pressure of the warp mode in controlling the attitude after starting of traveling is set to 0, and sets the target value of pressure of the other mode to the pressures of respective modes in the reference state.
