PURPOSE: To make a vehicular auto closure compact.
CONSTITUTION: This vehicular auto closure is provided with a locking device body 1; a latch 7 rotatably fixed to the body 1 by a shaft 8 so as to be engaged with a striker 2; a motor 41 or the like to which a current is applied when the latch 7 is rotated into the half-lock position; a sector lever 20 rotatably supported in a position above the latch 7 by a shaft 16 parallel to the shaft 8 and rotated by the motor 41 or the like; link-auto 31 rotatably fixed into the lower position of the sector lever 20 by a shaft 32 parallel to the shaft 16; hooks 33 formed on the lower face side of the link-auto 31; and pins 36 provided at the latch 7 so as to be engaged with the hooks 33. The link-auto 31 is to be two-piece structure spaced by the thickness of the latch 7, and the pins 36 are formed to protrude on both sides of the latch 7. The hooks 33 are simultaneously engaged with the pins 36 on both sides. The link-auto 31 is provided with a pin 34 parallel to the shaft 32, and this pin 34 is engaged with an induction groove 35 formed on the body 1 side. The induction groove 35 is formed of a starting end part (a) bent in the separating direction from the shaft 8 of the latch 7, and a circular arc groove part (b) around the shaft 8 of the latch 7.
