Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of a battery during parking and suppress deterioration of fuel economy due to battery use limitation in an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular battery temperature control system includes: a battery 11 for an electric vehicle; a battery temperature sensor 31 for detecting a temperature of the battery 11; a battery temperature control device 30 for controlling the temperature of the battery 11 within a predetermined temperature range; parking schedule information acquisition means for acquiring a parking schedule; ambient temperature prediction information acquisition means; temperature control electric power amount calculation means for calculating the amount of electric power predicted to be necessary for the temperature control means 30 from parking start schedule time to parking end schedule time; and battery charge/discharge control means for controlling charging/discharging of the battery during traveling so that the amount of the electric power charged to the battery at start of the parking becomes equal to or larger than the amount of the electric power obtained by adding the temperature control electric power amount to predetermined target electric power amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
