Abstract:
To control the rotation speed of a rotary pump by actively using an operating range with a better operation efficiency in a vehicular cooling apparatus.SOLUTION: A controller of a vehicular cooling apparatus performs: controlling a rotation speed of the rotary pump and an open-close state of a grille shutter in accordance with a coolant temperature in a case where the coolant temperature is within a given range; maintaining the grill shutter closed in a case where a coolant temperature is lower than a lower limit of the given range; maintaining the grille shutter open and controlling a rotation speed of the rotary pump in accordance with a coolant temperature in a case where the coolant temperature is higher than an upper limit of the given range, with a required load required by a vehicular driver being equal to or lower than a given value; and maintaining the grille shutter open and controlling a rotation speed of the rotary pump at a rotation speed higher than a speed for the case of controlling in accordance with the coolant temperature, in a case where the coolant temperature is higher than the upper limit of the given range, with a required load required by the vehicle driver exceeding the given value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
