Abstract:
To improve deflector designing and reduce air resistance by forming a continuous surface with no steps between the design surface of a lighting member and the general surface of a deflector body.
A deflector body 1 consists of a transparent resin and reinforcing fibers, and has a window 10 in such a part thereof as has no gel coat layer 11. That portion of the deflector body 1 which has no gel coat layer 11 is transparent or translucent, so that light from a light source 21 is visible from the outside. The window 10, which is integral with the deflector body 1, forms a continuous surface with no steps.
