To provide a vehicular driving operation auxiliary device performing reaction force control fit for feeling of a driver in consideration of a driving operation concentration degree of the driver or a traveling state of a driver's own vehicle.
This vehicular driving operation auxiliary device calculates risk potential showing an approach degree to a preceding vehicle by use of an inter-vehicle time and a margin time between the own vehicle and the preceding vehicle. When it is in a travel state requiring deceleration of the own vehicle, e.g. when the own vehicle approaches an ETC tollgate or when incompletely closed door warning is outputted, a correction value is added to the risk potential. When it is predicted that the concentration degree to driving operation is degraded, e.g. when the driver repeatedly performs switch operation of a navigation device or hears up-tempo music with large volume, a correction coefficient is multiplied to the risk potential. Operation reaction force generated from an accelerator pedal and operation reaction force generated from a brake pedal are calculated on the basis of the corrected risk potential.
