Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance failsafe at the time of power shutdown.SOLUTION: When power is shutdown, an actuator 2806 becomes a non-electrification state, disengaging a clutch 28 and separating a parking brake pedal 26 from a motor 18A. When the parking brake pedal 26 is operated by being stepped on, a take-up pulley 30 winds up a first cable 22A, giving tension to second and third cables 22B, 22C, causing individual brake parts 24A, 24B to be pressed against disk rotors, thus braking the disk rotors. That is, when the power is shutdown, a step-on operation of the parking brake pedal 26 gives tension to the parking cable 22, braking the individual brake parts 24A, 24B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
