In the handle support structure, a handle holder (12) fitted on a front fork (8) supports a handle bar (13). The handle holder (12) includes a base part (18) formed to be elastically deformable via a splitting groove (24), a hold part (19) retaining the handle bar (13), and a plurality of arm parts (28) connecting the hold part (19) to the base part (18). The plurality of arm parts (28) are arranged apart from each other along the periphery of the base part (18). The base part (18) elastically deforms by a tightening force a fastening member (49) and is fastened to the outer periphery of the front fork (8).
